The IRS Nationwide Tax Forum is the marquee IRS outreach event providing the latest on federal and state tax issues for the tax professional community.
Robert’s session on September 18th, “Representing Businesses with No Records,” will cover tools and methods for representing businesses with inadequate books and records in preparation for an audit. Topics include:
- Obtaining and preparing client records, including Form 4822 and cash receipts
- IRS reconstruction methods and due diligence requirements
- The Cohan Rule and estimating income/expenses
- The role of expert testimony in supporting reconstructed records in court
