Taylor Nelson Amitrano Welcomes Attorney Carmen Vera
July 8, 2026
Please join us in welcoming Carmen Vera, our newest associate attorney at Taylor Nelson Amitrano.
Carmen joins the firm with experience in federal and state tax credits, incentives, and tax controversy matters. Most recently, she was a senior associate in the Federal Tax Strategies Group at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), where she helped clients calculate and document federal/state research, development tax credits, and other tax incentives. Additionally, Carmen was a Senior Associate at Andersen, where she worked on research and development tax credit and Section 174 engagements.
Carmen graduated with her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in the top 20% of her class. During law school, she served as a Graduate Student Assistant with the California Office of Tax Appeals, where she conducted legal research and drafted opinions for administrative law judges, including working on a decision that later became precedential in California.
We are delighted to welcome Carmen to our growing team. Her background further strengthens our firm's ability to help clients navigate complex tax controversies before the IRS and California taxing authorities.
